A Room Set At Christie’s For House & Garden
Cave Interiors was thrilled to be selected by Hatta Byng, Editor of House & Garden magazine, to curate one of the room sets for The List at House & Garden’s Christmas Party at Christie’s. Inspired by this beautiful Georgian needlepoint sofa they created a ladies’ sitting-room using a harmonious mix of pieces selected from Christie’s current auction, alongside some select pieces from a few of their favorite suppliers.
Highgate New Build House
Cave Interiors provided a full interior design service including the interior space planning on this new build house near Kenwood in Highgate, North London. Bar the finishing touches that crucially include the addition of art, it is now complete. The brief was to create a seven-bedroom family home with six bathrooms, two guest WCs, several reception rooms, a home cinema, study, gym, steam room, swimming pool and wine cellar in a newly formed basement. The design of the streamlined modern kitchen with two central islands as the hub of the home was also key to the interiors brief.
Primrose Hill Garden Maisonette
The modernization of this prestigious 3-bedroom garden maisonette in the heart of Primrose Hill was completed in two stages following a flood. The key to the interior design brief was to create a contemporary, yet eclectic feel that highlighted the clients’ beautiful collection of art and antiques. Amongst others, Cave Interiors’ design work included the bespoke kitchen, bathrooms and cabinetry, hand-printed wallpaper, textural but modern fabrics including mohair and wool, as well as sourcing the antique fireplaces, furniture and soft furnishing design, etc.
Spaniards Close, Hampstead
The complete renovation, extension and interior decoration of a five-bedroom, five-bathroom, post-war house protected by the Hampstead Garden Trust. The house had little of its original interior architectural features, which gave Cave Interiors the opportunity to add in their own details such as newly designed and oversized internal doors, skirting, cornices, crittall style steel doors to the entrance hall and main reception, herringbone laid wood flooring, patterned tiling and more. Sourcing vintage finds alongside some modern pieces, including several bespoke items was also key to the brief.
Primrose Hill Victorian Townhouse
Cave Interiors was instructed to help pull the schemes together in this lovely local Primrose Hill house project. They fitted reclaimed wood and tiled flooring, added key pieces of joinery, furniture and soft furnishings and consulted on further items and the general color scheme throughout.
West Hampstead Reception Rooms
An instruction by current clients on a project abroad, Cave Interiors was asked to completely redesign and furnish the formal reception rooms in this lovely Edwardian family home, as well as help with the re-landscaping of the terrace in time for a special event. Their works included bespoke joinery design, furniture and soft furnishings, lighting design as well as re-framing and augmenting the existing art collection.
