#2 – Hotel Le Meurice by Lally & Berger
It was in 1907 that the Meurice inaugurated a roof garden, originally conceived as a summer restaurant. Today, the 7th and top floor of the hotel is solely devoted to the Belle Etoile Suite, which is housed in a structure added in the 50s; a project designed by Lally & Berger. BRABBU makes a statement in this interior design elevating the project to more refined decor. With 250m2 of interior space and 350m2 private terrace, it offers guests breath-taking and exceptional views of the monuments of Paris like the Louvre, the Orsay Museum and the Eiffel Tower.
#3 – Idol Hotel by Various Artists
Composed by Yann Gasparini, Jazz, Soul and Funk music lover, painted by Julie Gauthron, the funkiest decorator in Parisian hotel industry, renovated by Elegancia Hotels as well as AD-Tango, and cleverly set to music by Parisian Dj and record dealer François Mazza, the Idol Hotel is a joyful hymn to Black Music from the 60’s to the ’80s. DelightFULL comes to give a more ‘funky’ look to it with the Botti floor lamp and it totally worked!
#4 – Modern Abode by Philippe Rapin and Sylvie de Chirée
A new luxury apartment has emerged in Paris and it is inside where all the gems hide. A trip down vintage times merged with a modern design that will make anyone fall in love with it. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe the multilayered Paris luxury apartment of antique dealer and designer Philippe Rapin and his partner in crime. Philippe Rapin and Sylvie de Chirée thrive in this Right Bank apartment with inimitable views and a dynamic collection.
#5 – Modern Design Paris Apartment by Champeau and Wilde
Discover how Champeau and Wilde’s signature style is exemplified in their recently completed new home, a two-bedroom apartment in the culturally vibrant Nouvelle Athènes district in Paris. The 1,600 sqft property hadn’t been altered since 1956, but Champeau and Wilde were particularly impressed with its full-length balcony and the light and space distribution. They spent nine months renovating and furnishing the space to transform it into their dream home.
#6 – Paris Multimillionaire Penthouse by Boca do Lobo Design Studio
In Paris, the city of lights and the home of iconic design is nestled a luxurious and eclectic 1450 square feet apartment, by Boca do Lobo Design Studio. An apartment fit for the most creative minds, this project is one of the many homes of a prolific architect, who also dabbles in the art dealing world. We sat down with the design team behind this modern project – Boca do Lobo Design Studio – to find out more of what it entailed. The client was looking for “a place where classic and contemporary come together” says the studio. A multimillion-dollar penthouse that reflects the owner’s love for collectible design and the client’s needs to have a functional space for work and to be inspired at the same time.
#7 – Paris Showroom by 10surdix design studio
So, from all that passion and inspiration somewhere in Clichy – in the 9th arrondissement of Paris – there is a stunning place that was the subject of a home makeover by interior design studio 10surdix, that almost looks like taken from a movie. This French team created an inspiring modern home filled with industrial accents and a mid-century lighting design by DelightFULL, along with a mid-century sideboard by Essential Home. This is a project that you won’t ever forget.
#8 – Parisian Apartment by Pierre Yovanovitch
In the hands of Pierre Yovanovitch, the Paris apartment that iconic designer Jean-Michel Frank once called home gets a spectacular new lease on life. Not all was lost, of this historic apartment, as Paris-based designer Pierre Yovanovitch discovered when he took on its most recent redesign for a French family.
#9 – Parisian Luxury Home by Jean-Louis Deniot
Designed at the start of the 19th century by Charles Percier and Pierre Fontaine, leading architects of the day, the four-story buildings were completed in the mid-1830s. Today, the apartments within offer some of the most spectacular views anywhere in the heart of Paris, overlooking the iconic sweep from the Place de la Concorde to the Louvre, and Jean Louis-Deniot decided to completely redesign this entire luxury home and to give it a “fresher” look.
#10 – Providence Hotel by Philippe Medioni
Closer to Canal Saint-Martin and the upper Marais than to any of the typical tourist destinations — the Providence Hotel in Paris is largely uncharted territory for hotels, and there’s no better feeling for a boutique hotelier than breaking new ground, has Pierre Moussié has discovered.
#11 – Redo Of A Paris Apartment by Lorenzo Castillo
To enter the world of my friend Lorenzo Castillo is to embark on a journey into the sublime, a fairy-tale dream of extravagance and magic. Such is certainly the case in one of his latest projects, a pied-à-terre on the Left Bank of Paris that he designed for a Spanish client and his French wife.
#12 – Victor Hugo Hotel Project by Laurent Maugoust
Laurent Maugoust’s interest is towards places steeped in history, where he can create personal projects in which he strives to develop his own creative language. So it is no wonder that Laurent Maugoust was invited to design Hotel Victor Hugo, a four-star hotel located at the heart of Paris.
